Take The Ultimate "Gal Pal" Trip And Party With A Purpose
Save-the-date for next year April 4th-5th, 2014!

Big News: Our 2013 event was a huge success. We raised over $30,000! On the first weekend in April, 2013 women poured into Blanco for a weekend of fun. After our Friday evening "Welcome" reception, we enjoyed a movie-under-the-stars on the Courthouse grounds. The next morning ladies took over the town for all kinds of events (see photos below). There were self-defense lessons, fly fishing classes, "chick" vendor market, author readings, fashion show, brewery tour and tasting, belly-dancing, luncheons, aromatherapy workshop, a 5k and 10k Run and more. Saturday evening the big finale was our Casino Night and silent auction.

Road Trip! Wild Woman Weekend is your chance to take that fun road trip with your gal-pals and help raise money for some wonderful organizations. This fundraising extravaganza is designed just for us girls. Have you ever wanted to find something you could all agree on? Well this is it because there is something for every woman regardless of her interests.

Blanco, Texas, a small rural community just an hour from both San Antonio and Austin, is inviting women from across the state to come and enjoy activities like yoga, birding, fly fishing, a 5k and 10k run, and shopping (of course!). All proceeds are divided among four local non-profits.

Here is a suggestion: It is not too early to consider making reservations now for 2014. Most establishments will book now with the option to cancel if you have to. Check for cancellation policies. Click on the "Lodging" link above for suggestions on where to stay.

New York Times says,
"A hill country town with hollywood credentials"

Blanco, Texas is the best undiscovered of all the small hill country towns. Recently, the New York Times did a story that talks about the old town and surrounding area. Click here to read the article www.nytimes.com/2011/05/01/us/01tttravel.html. Don’t miss this chance to experience rural Texas at its best and “party with a purpose”. This is the ultimate event planned by women for women. Save the date for 2014, and contact us if you'd like to be contacted when registration begins for next year. For questions or information contact us at wildwomanweekend@gmail.com. Can’t wait to see you all in Blanco for our 2nd annual event.
